Climate Adaptation - Solution Rainwater Nuissance

Created at: 10 Mar 2017

Description

Excessive rainfall causing considerable difficulties and disturbances for the inhabitants of one particular part of the Zwartsluis town centre. Targeted roadworks for disconnecting and reorganizing the area’s roads and pavements. A storm water system was designed by ARCADIS, dealing with rainwater in a conscious fashion. This led to a design that is tailored to the historical character of the historical town center of Zwartsluis.
