Description

Pavement corresponding to 2 parking spaces with short slabs and unsealed joints to allow a better load distribution (increasing structural capacity) and the infiltration through the joints, respectively. Some slabs include partial replacement of cement by waste of ceramic tiles or glass. In addition, different compaction patterns were applied to the slabs.

The project “Sustainable and eco-efficient Pervious Concrete Pavements for Bikeways, Sidewalks and Parking Lots for mitigating rainwater runoff and heat islands in urban areas” Funded by National Agency of Research and Development (2019/13269-4), Chile.
