What is climatescan? Climatescan is a citizen science interactive web-based map application for international knowledge exchange on blue-green projects around the globe. There is a wide diversity of projects undertaken to address urban resilience and climate proofing in the world. International knowledge exchange tools are evaluated with result: stakeholders demand tools that are interactive, open source and provide more detailed information (location, free photo and film material). Climatescan.nl has proven to be a successful tool with over 10000 users and more than 5000 international projects. The tool is used in several international workshops and serves the needs of different stakeholders. Climatescan shows there is a clear demand for a collaborative, knowledge sharing tool where first impressions of different urban resilience projects can be quickly gained. The climatescan.nl map application has proven successful to its users (most young professionals) uplaoding to the open source platform resulting in over 5000 projects with the app in the appstore. Climatescan is gaining positive feedback in international workshops and meetings. What is climatescan? (Inter-)nationaal staan we voor een uitdaging om onze leefomgeving klimaatbestendig in te richten zodat ons leefklimaat nu en in de toekomst aantrekkelijk blijft. Het klimaatbestendig maken van steden vraagt om een ander inrichting van de openbare ruimte. In de laatste decennia zijn hiervoor op internationale schaal diverse creatieve �groen en blauweï oplossingen geït implementeerd die we kunnen gebruiken als inspiratie voor onze eigen opgave. Vaak wordt er te weinig gebruik gemaakt van de creativiteit en ervaring van onze (verre) buren. Om (inter-)nationale kennisuitwisseling te bevorderen kunnen we gebruik maken van internationale interactieve tools zoals climatescan. Climatescan laat meer dan 5000 locaties zien met beeldmateriaal, achtergrond informatie en (wetenschappelijke) artikelen. In dit artikel wordt een korte omschrijving gegeven van climatescan en 3 voorbeelden waarbij deze tool wordt gebruikt: internationale projecten, onderwijs en projecten op particulier terrein.
